Move over pineapple tarts, there a new delicacy in town! NUTELLA TARTS!  Our favorite Nutella with buttery melt in the mouth base that will surely tantalize your taste buds. We’ve enjoyed eating these delectable on every festive season. Be it Hari Raya Puasa, Chinese New Year, Deepavali and even during Christmas, Nutella Tart could be enjoyed all year round! It’s very addictive and can be a bit pricey. So why not try and bake it yourself during these festive season? It’s very easy and simple we promise. You’ll only need 5 ingredients.

Nutella Tart Recipe
250g Golden Churn Butter (Room Temperature)
50g Caster Sugar
1 whole egg + 1 egg yolk
400g Plain Flour
Loads of Nutella!!

Beat all butter and sugar till incorporated. Mix it well till the butter turn pale yellow.

Add egg and egg yolk. Mix it well for 10-20 secs.

Add the flour in 3 batches. Add the flour using a spatula mix batch by batch till it forms a dough.

Roll the dough and cut to small tarts shape, make tiny air holes for the base using tooth pick. It will be known as the Nutella Tart Base.

Bake the Nutella Tart Base at 160 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. Once it was baked, allow the Nutella Tart Base to be completely cooled before piping the Nutella.

After piping the Nutella into swirls bake it for another 10 minutes to let it set to the base. Bake at 160 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes. Allow for it to cool and store in air tight containers. Enjoy!
