Homegrown peranakan food chain Lee Wee & Brothers has been around for 19 years.  They set up a stall along Old Airport Road, and at that stall, their mother imparted to the brothers, the family heritage recipes. This Peranakan family-run business has just opened a new outlet at ION Orchard. And yes, this outlet is HALAL.  Lee Wee & Brothers has 6 halal-certified outlets islandwide. This outlet is a take-away outlet. There are a few standing tables nearby which you can use to eat while standing. A grab and go kind of thing. Avoid peak period as that tables will definitely be full most of the time. Lee Wee & Brothers launched their own rendition of Laksa (S$5.990), a popular slurp-worthy staple across Singapore.
